Zusammenfassung

The Global Aviation Data Management (GADM) team at International Air Transport Association (IATA) is seeking a motivated intern to support data analysis, quality checks and visualization efforts. You will contribute to dashboards, metrics, and data-driven insights within a collaborative environment.

Ideal candidates hold a recent degree in mathematics, statistics, computer science or data science, with experience in Power BI, SQL and data visualization.

Qualifikationen

• Recent (≤12 months) undergraduate or graduate degree in applied mathematics, statistics, computer science, data science, operational research or relevant discipline.
• Knowledge in statistics, big data analytics, database management and data visualization.
• Proficiency with BI technologies (e.g. Microsoft Power BI).
• SQL knowledge, query authoring (SQL) and working familiarity with a variety of databases; proficiency in English (written and spoken).

• Perform analysis, data quality checks and create visualizations.
• Support statistical analysis and develop metrics to interpret trends and provide meaningful insights.
• Assist in developing automated data validation processes and improve data quality.
• Support ad hoc data analysis requests and customer onboarding/experience activities.

About The Team You Are Joining

The Global Aviation Data Management (GADM) team is responsible for the development, implementation and support of data solutions needed to monitor safety, operational and efficiency KPIs. These include:

• Managing Data Sharing Programs (IDX, FDX and MCX)
• Supporting internal and external businesses in their data, reporting and dashboard needs
• Developing a coherent approach to data visualization and analysis
• Ensuring the availability, reliability, and quality of the data and related dashboards through continuous monitoring
• Adhering to data governance policies, quality standards and best practices.

What Your Day Would Be Like

You will report to the Head of Global Aviation Data Management Programs and you will:

• Perform analysis, data quality, data operations as well as visualizations
• Support statistical analysis and development of metrics and methodology to correctly interpret trends and patterns in data to produce meaningful insights
• Support in developing and operating automated data validation processes and propose controls to continuously improve data quality
• Support ad hoc requests for analysis or supply of data
• Actively Support Customer Engagement, Onboarding and Experience functions
• Liaise with our development team and on the continuous improvement and development of our analytics services;
• Support in the development of data modeling and visualizations for Power BI reporting and analytical insights
