Base pay range

$30.00/hr - $38.00/hr

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Data Analyst to join our dynamic operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, with experience in transforming complex datasets into actionable insights. Proficiency in SQL, data visualization tools (such as Power BI), and a solid understanding of data modeling and reporting are essential. Familiarity with statistical methods, predictive analytics, and cloud-based data environments (e.g., Azure) will be considered a strong asset.



Key Responsibilities


  • Data Collection & Management: Gather, clean, and organize data from multiple sources, including training sessions, operational systems, and maintenance activities.

  • Data Analysis: Analyze large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies that inform business decisions.

  • Reporting & Visualization: Develop dashboards and reports using tools like Power BI or Tableau to communicate insights effectively to stakeholders.

  • Performance Monitoring: Track KPIs and operational metrics to support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (operations, IT, finance) to ensure data integrity and alignment with business objectives.

  • Decision Support: Provide data-driven recommendations to optimize resource allocation, scheduling, and overall operational performance.



Required Skills & Qualifications


  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis or business intelligence roles.

  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with data visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau).

  • Strong knowledge of data modeling, ETL processes, and relational databases.

  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and predictive modeling techniques.

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

  • Strong communication skills to present complex data in a clear and actionable way.



Preferred Qualifications


  • Experience with Azure cloud platforms and/or Fabric.

  • Knowledge of Python and PySpark.

  • Understanding of data governance and privacy best practices.

  • Experience in the aviation, training, or technology environments is an asset.
