Bombardier is seeking engineering interns in Canada with a passion for full-stack web development and data-driven automation. You will build internal tools and deploy web apps using React/Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS to support smart factory initiatives and manufacturing operations.

The role emphasizes Python/SQL backend work, real-time insights, and collaboration across engineering teams. It targets current students in 3rd or 4th year of an Engineering program in Mississauga.

Qualifications

  • 3rd or 4th year in an undergraduate engineering program.
  • Strong programming foundations in Python, SQL, React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities

  • Design and deploy full-stack web applications and internal tools using React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS for smart factory initiatives.
  • Engineer backend automation scripts and data pipelines with Python and SQL to drive real-time insights.
  • Build internal applications and management tools to improve cross-functional communication.
  • Assist with software and digital transformation initiatives for advanced aircraft programs.
  • Explore research on software architectures and AI for manufacturing operations.

What are your contributions to the team?
  • You are currently enrolled in the 3rd or 4th year of an undergraduate university program in an Engineering discipline.
  • You bring strong programming and development foundations in Python, SQL, React, Next.js, TypeScript, HTML, CSS, and Git.
  • You are experienced with the Microsoft Office Suite and capable of utilizing modern digital productivity tools.
  • You are detail-oriented, professional, and able to thrive collaboratively as a team player in a dynamic environment.
  • You possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills with fluency in written and spoken English.

It is important to note that our internship opportunities are open to students only, not new graduates. The base salary for this position is expected to range from CAD $17.95 to CAD $31.00 per hour. The applicable base salary will be determined based on various criteria, at Bombardier’s sole discretion, such as the candidate’s skills, experience and qualifications. All our interns may be required to occasionally travel outside of Canada for training/work purpose.
