Job summary

MatchBox Consulting is seeking a Senior/Intermediate recruiter to join our fast-growing team in Vancouver. You’ll actively engage with candidates in person, by phone, and via video, building relationships that unlock opportunities and drive results.

In this role you’ll attract candidates, assess fit with client companies, coordinate interviews, and mentor junior recruiters as part of a dynamic team serving Canada and the Americas.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• 3+ years of recruitment or sales experience.
• Exceptional communication skills with candidates in person, phone, or video.

As a Senior/Intermediate recruiter at MatchBox Consulting, you’ll play a pivotal role in connecting top talent with exciting opportunities. You will actively engage with candidates in person, over the phone, and via video, building meaningful relationships that unlock potential and create lasting impact.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Attracting candidates and matching them to positions with client companies through in-person meetings, phone calls, and video interviews.
• Developing a strong understanding of client companies, including their industry, operations, and workplace culture.
• Using social media to advertise positions, attract candidates, and build relationships with both candidates and employers.
• Headhunting - identifying and approaching suitable candidates who may already be employed.
• Briefing candidates on responsibilities, salary, and benefits for open roles.
• Preparing CVs and correspondence to present suitable applicants to clients.
• Organizing interviews for candidates as requested by the client, leveraging in-person, phone, and video formats.
• Mentoring junior recruiters and contribuiting to the overall sucess of the team

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in a recruitment or sales role.
• Exceptional communication skills – written and oral, with experience engaging with candidates in person, over the phone, and via video.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education.
• Proven experience managing a high volume of candidates through various recruitment stages.
• Strong attention to detail with a diligent and persistent work ethic.
• Superb organizational skills to balance multiple priorities effectively.
