The Client is seeking an Intermediate Solutions Designer to support the design, implementation, and optimization of cloud-based Electronic Health Record (EHR) platforms. This role focuses on healthcare interoperability and modern cloud practices, ensuring scalable, secure, and high-performing solutions.

Job Title: Intermediate Solutions Designer

Job Location: Toronto, ON/Hybrid

Job Description:

Must Haves:

• 10 years of experience creating technical and user documentation for electronic health-related projects, with clinical software deployment
• 5+ years of expertise in HL7 V2, FHIR, and XML messaging
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with Smile CDR/Smile Digital Health products
• Recent advanced certification in Azure or AWS
• 3+ years of experience designing and supporting solutions in multi-cloud environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Validate EHR platform architecture for scalability, security, and reliability
• Implement best practices for cloud-native development and interoperability (FHIR)
• Review and optimize code for performance and maintainability
• Guide adoption of modern technologies such as containers, orchestration, and serverless computing
• Ensure compliance with healthcare standards like PHIPA
• Drive platform enhancements and ensure data integrity during migrations
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to align with business goals
• Document technical guidance and improvement strategies
