Qualifications

Intermediate ITAM Governance Analyst / Business Systems Analyst

Position Overview

The Intermediate ITAM Governance Analyst / Business Systems Analyst will support the continued maturity of the IT Asset Management (ITAM) program through governance, controls, asset lifecycle management, and ServiceNow ITAM initiatives. This role combines ITAM governance expertise with business systems analysis responsibilities, including requirements gathering, process improvement, stakeholder engagement, and control documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Support ITAM governance frameworks, policies, standards, and controls
• Gather and document business requirements, process maps, and functional requirements
• Analyze and improve Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and Software Asset Management (SAM) processes
• Support asset lifecycle governance, including acquisition, deployment, maintenance, and retirement
• Monitor End-of-Life (EOL) and End-of-Support (EOS) risks and remediation activities
• Support IT general controls, compliance initiatives, and audit requirements
• Partner with technology, risk, audit, and business stakeholders to identify gaps and drive process improvements
• Support ServiceNow ITAM initiatives, including HAM, SAM, and CMDB
• Develop reporting, dashboards, and executive-level presentations

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, Business Analyst, or ITAM Analyst
• Strong experience with IT Asset Management (ITAM)
• Experience with Hardware Asset Management (HAM) and/or Software Asset Management (SAM)
• Experience gathering business requirements and documenting processes
• Knowledge of IT governance, risk management, compliance, and IT general controls
• Strong understanding of asset lifecycle management
• Experience with ServiceNow ITAM, HAM, SAM, and/or CMDB
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills
• Advanced Excel and reporting experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience within financial services or other regulated environments
• Experience supporting ITAM maturity or transformation initiatives
• Exposure to EOL/EOS governance
• ITIL and/or IAITAM certification
• Experience supporting audits and regulatory reviews

Vacancy:

This posting is for a currently vacant role, and the successful candidate will be hired into an existing open position.

Pay Rate: $52/hr - $57/hr
