Stantec is seeking an Intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our Atlantic Canada team in Dartmouth or nearby locations. You will lead field investigations, groundwater modeling, and technical reporting while collaborating with hydrogeology professionals.

Ideal candidates hold a bachelor’s in groundwater disciplines, 5–10 years of consulting experience, and current professional registration (P.Geo. or P.Eng.). Some travel is required as projects span Atlantic Canada.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in groundwater from Hydrogeology, Geoscience, or Engineering.
• 5–10 years of consulting or regulatory experience using hydrogeologic data.
• Professional registration (P.Geo. or P.Eng.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe work practices and client guidelines.
• Perform field investigations including drilling, well construction, and sampling oversight.
• Produce geological cross-sections and groundwater contour maps.
• Interpret aquifer tests and develop hydrogeologic models.
• Prepare technical reports documenting field investigations and results.
• Contribute to project budgets, scopes, and schedules.
• Travel to field sites as required and support business development.
