Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist to join the Environmental Services Team for Atlantic Canada. You will lead diverse hydrogeology projects, including groundwater supply development, baselines for mining, and permitting, while mentoring junior staff.

You will develop conceptual models, interpret field data, and deliver technical reports and client presentations, with travel to field sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in hydrogeology or related field.
• 7+ years of consulting or regulatory hydrogeology experience.
• Professional registration (P.Geo. or P.Eng.) is required.

Responsibilities

• Promote health and safety and contribute to Stantec’s EH&S program.
• Develop project budgets, scopes, and schedules.
• Plan and support field programs: drilling, well construction, testing, sampling, and water level monitoring.
• Develop conceptual hydrogeologic models and interpret aquifer data.
• Prepare technical reports and client presentations with clear conclusions and recommendations.
• Travel to field sites as required and mentor junior staff.
