Position purpose:

Responsible for managing, implementing, and operationalizing all mobility programs (outgoing and incoming). Ensures alignment in communication and procedural strategies of all programs. Maintains ongoing communication with international partners and ensures the smooth running of mobility programs.

Responsibilities include:
  1. Operational and communication planning for Exchange Programs, supporting students at administrative and academic levels.
  2. Collaborate with academic advising and administration to promote exchange programs, organize meetings for operational efficiency.
  3. Manage candidate selection, design and update pre-departure and support workshops.
  4. Communicate with partners and promote student participation in uOInternational activities.
  5. Handle complex student files, including issues abroad, integration, or mental health concerns, with professionalism.
  6. Develop and implement marketing strategies, promote exchange programs at events and conferences.
  7. Serve as a resource and liaison for exchange programs, recommend new agreements.
  8. Promote scholarships and oversee mobility grants administration.
  9. Stay informed on travel advisories, coordinate during emergencies, and communicate with stakeholders.
  10. Represent uOInternational at conferences and international missions.
  11. Coordinate visits of delegations with the Vice-president’s office.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree; training in communications, marketing, or international education is an asset.
  • At least 3 years' experience in program/project management or communications/marketing.
  • Knowledge of university environment, curricula, regulations, student services.
  • Experience with international education systems, communication, interpersonal skills, problem-solving.
  • Proficiency with computer programs, creating promotional content.
  • Fluent in French and English (oral and written).
  • Experience analyzing student files, intercultural communication, diplomacy.
  • Ability to work independently, handle multiple files, work evenings/weekends if needed.
  • Supervisory experience is an asset; experience in student mobility programs and knowledge of additional languages are assets.
