About the Opportunity

We are looking to add a talented Interior Designer to our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for corporate interior design, a keen eye for detail, and the ability to translate client requirements into creative and practical design solutions.

This role offers the opportunity to work on and contribute to every stage of the design process, from concept to completion.

As a designer in Design & Build company, you will have the opportunity to work closely with project managers, estimators, site supervisors, and trades to execute your design intent.

About the Deliverables
  • Own the design elements of a project from kick-off to completion, including concept creation, budgeting, material selection and furniture specification.
  • Create innovative, functional, and aesthetically compelling design solutions that align with project goals and client needs.
  • Lead client presentations from programming, layout and concept to design development.
  • Develop and grown client relationships with key accounts.
  • Manage and Coordinate junior designers, Cad Techs & Consultants to develop and maintain working drawings for your projects including: RCP, Flooring, Fixtures, Furniture, Finishes, Partition, Power and Communications, Elevations and Millwork details, including reviews of Permit, Tender, and Construction Document sets.
  • Interface with our project managers, estimators and construction team during design, tender and construction.
  • Provide training and onboarding for new junior designers, fostering a culture of continuous learning.
About You
  • 5-8 years of experience in Interior Design.
  • A Bachelor’s of Interior Design or a related field from an accredited institution.
  • Experience with corporate office and workplace design preferred.
  • Experience in 3D rendering and visualization.
  • Ability to collaborate in project team settings but also work well independently.
  • Excellent time management skills.
  • Ability to navigate challenges and proactively problem-solve.
  • Able to engage in creative and critical thought to interpret sketches, drawings, program and other similar material.
  • Ability to communicate design ideas and intent (verbal, written, graphic).
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Understanding of client's expectations of deliverables at different phases of projects including construction documents.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Suite, or similar design software.
