Duties
The Supervisor of Intelligence Analysts (EC-06) is responsible for leading and managing a team of intelligence analysts to deliver high-quality tactical, operational, and strategic intelligence products that support criminal investigations, organizational priorities, and executive decision-making. The role involves overseeing analytical projects, ensuring methodological rigor and quality control, managing human and financial resources, providing expert advice and briefings to senior management, and maintaining partnerships within the law enforcement and intelligence communities. The incumbent applies advanced intelligence analysis techniques, social science research methods, and knowledge of criminal and national security environments to identify trends, assess threats, produce actionable intelligence, and guide investigative priorities, while also mentoring staff, supporting professional development, and ensuring compliance with legal, policy, security, and information management requirements.

RCMP Enhanced Reliability Status with Top Secret Security Clearance. In accordance with the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat, Directive on Security Screening (effective January 6,2025), Canadian citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.
Willing and able to work overtime, as and when, required and on short notice. Willing and able to travel domestically/internationally to attend training /work related events away from your location of work when required. Willingness and ability to work in a busy police environment, including exposure to unsettling and/or graphic material. Willingness and ability to testify in court. Possess and maintain a valid driver’s license or personal mobility to a degree normally associated with the possession of a valid driver’s license.
