We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Insurance Broker to join our team. This position is commission based salary. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills and a passion for helping clients navigate their insurance needs. As an Insurance Broker, you will be responsible for providing expert advice on various insurance products, negotiating terms, and ensuring customer satisfaction. This role requires a proactive approach to sales and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients. This job does offer remote opportunities. We are looking for brokers Ontario-wide!

Responsibilities
- Adherence to industry ethical standards, professional integrity, and confidentiality in handling client information.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team within an insurance brokerage.
- Knowledge of Ontario insurance laws, regulations, and industry standards.
- Understanding of consumer protection laws and the role of brokers in advising clients fairly.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and accounts simultaneously.
- Efficient record-keeping, documentation, and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Problem-solving skills to find optimal insurance solutions for clients' needs.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and insurance providers.
- Active listening skills and the ability to explain complex policies in simple terms.
- Strong ability to prospect, sell, and retain clients.
- Excellent customer service skills to answer client inquiries and resolve issues.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Requirements
- Must hold a valid Ontario Insurance Broker License (Level 1 or Level 2, depending on experience). OR WILLING TO OBTAIN RIBO.
- Previous experience with OTL/RIBO (Preferred)
- Previous experience with LLQP (Preferred)
- Relevant past experience in the related field
- Completion of required RIBO (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) education and exams.
- Experience in the Insurance field. (Preferred)
- Continuing education to maintain licensure, as per RIBO guideline
- In-depth understanding of personal and commercial insurance policies (auto, home, life, business, etc.).
- Familiarity with various insurance companies, products, and underwriting processes.
- Ability to assess risks and provide suitable coverage options.
- Comfortable with using insurance software and other digital platforms to manage client information and policies.
- Familiarity with online quoting systems and industry software.
