Job summary

Nacora Insurance Brokers in Ontario is seeking a RIBO licensed team member to assist brokers with customer service tasks and support policy renewals. This role offers growth into a commercial insurance path and a competitive salary.

In-office, permanent position with regular 9-5 hours and English as the main language. The successful candidate will work closely with producers and account managers, handle slips, certificates, renewals, and client communications while ensuring proper documentation

Qualifications

• Must possess a RIBO insurance license.
• Experience in customer service in the insurance industry is an asset.
• Motivated self-starter who is results driven and has a positive attitude.
• Highly organized and detail oriented.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience with MS Office products such as Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Experience with EPIC or premium financing portals is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

• Creating Insurance slips, certificates of insurance, binders, and other client related paperwork.
• Ensuring that brokers are using the proper marketing tools and processes.
• Assisting producers and account managers with the management of policy renewals.
• Any other customer service-related tasks as may be requested from time to time.
• Client facing communications, including but not limited to obtaining risk information for renewals or new business, assessing insurance requirements, delivering endorsement documentation and certificates.
• Processing endorsements and payments in insurance company portals
• Ensuring that client files are up to date and properly documented
• Completing all applicable documentation with accuracy
• Working well with other team members

Compensation

• $66,000 annually or more depending on experience
• Commission on new business sales
• Two weeks of paid vacation
• Company paid lunches when working in the office
