Job summary

David Aplin Recruiting is seeking a Branch Manager to oversee a team of auto agents and Personal Line Advisors in an in-office setting. You will drive operational excellence and foster a productive workplace with strategic oversight of daily brokerage operations.

You will mentor staff, streamline workflows, ensure regulatory compliance, manage recruitment with HR, and maintain strong relationships with local partners while supporting travel to satellite offices.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years of management experience with a proven leadership track record.
• Knowledge of auto and personal lines insurance.
• Strong organizational, communication, and change management skills.
• Ability to motivate a team, handle high transaction volumes, and adapt to evolving business needs.
• Experience with broker management systems (Sig, EPIC, TAM) is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and coach a team of 15 plus staff members, conducting regular one-on-one meetings and performance reviews.
• Oversee and streamline workflows, identify efficiencies, and implement process improvements.
• Manage day-to-day operations of personal lines and Autoplan transactions, ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
• Handle employee recruitment and onboarding, with final hiring authority supported by HR.
• Support occasional travel to satellite offices and oversee operational continuity across locations.
• Maintain a strong book of business and foster relationships with local stakeholders and partners.
