Job summary
Cameco Corporation is seeking a maintenance-focused engineer at our northern Saskatchewan sites (Key Lake, McArthur River, Rabbit Lake, Cigar Lake). You will perform predictive maintenance, install and maintain DCS/PLC and instrumentation systems, and troubleshoot equipment to keep operations safe and efficient.
The role requires a Grade 12 diploma or equivalent and an instrumentation diploma or red seal, up to three years’ related experience, and ability to work a site-rotation schedule with
Qualifications
- Grade 12 diploma or equivalent.
- Interprovincial red seal or Instrumentation Engineering Technology Diploma.
- Up to three years of directly related work experience in an industrial or mine environment.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Willing to work a rotation schedule and commute to site by aircraft.
- Experience with Delta V DCS and/or Schneider PLC systems.
- Experience with SAP.
- Troubleshooting experience would be an asset.
- Experience with various instrumentation programming and configuration software.
Responsibilities
- Perform predictive and preventative maintenance checks on a regular basis to ensure safe and reliable production.
- Install and maintain all measurement and control systems including DCS/PLC, flowmeters, pH transmitters, density gauges, pressure transmitters, level transmitters and online analyzers.
- Troubleshoot equipment failures and document repairs.
