Job summary

Saskatchewan Polytechnic invites applications for an Employee Service Contract trainer to deliver workshops at the Regina Campus. The role includes preparing labs, outlining daily sessions, presenting skills, and guiding students through performance testing.

Responsibilities

• Lab/Workshop – create an outline for the day, prepare the room and supplies, teach and demonstrate related skills, provide scenarios and answer student questions, complete performance skill testing, and submit required paperwork.
• Coordinate with SASWH and Saskatchewan Polytechnic to schedule trainings and maintain documentation.

Required Qualifications

The position is an Employee Service Contract position with the opportunity to select multiple workshop dates throughout the year. Dates will be awarded to Trainers based on the collective agreement and the terms of the contract with SASWH . Multiple positions are available. To be eligible for this contract position you must be:
1. A Certified TLR Trainer (proof of certification will be required);
2. A part time, casual, or full time employee of Saskatchewan Polytechnic;
3. Experienced in teaching and interacting with adults;
4. Comfortable with using technology and making presentations to large groups.
