We are currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Installer to join our team. Reporting to the Operations Supervisor, the Installer will be responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of racking, shelving, and other storage and warehouse systems at customer facilities. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands‑on work, working with tools, and being part of a team that completes projects safely and efficiently.
The Installer will be responsible for the installation, assembly, setup, and repair of various racking, shelving, and warehouse storage systems at customer facilities. This role will involve loading and unloading materials, organizing products and equipment, and ensuring work areas remain clean and safe throughout each project. The successful candidate will operate hand tools, power tools, and various types of lift equipment while following all company safety policies, procedures, and safe work practices. They will be responsible for completing required safety and job‑related paperwork, following customer site requirements, and maintaining a professional and safe work environment. Additional responsibilities include maintaining company vehicles, keeping trucks clean and organized, and travelling as required for specific projects. The Installer must be able to work effectively as part of a team, follow direction from the Installation Lead or Supervisor, and complete all tasks safely and efficiently.
The successful candidate must have a valid NS Class 5 Driver's License and provide a clear driver's abstract. Previous experience in installation, construction, warehouse, or mechanical environments is considered an asset, but training will be provided for the right candidate. The candidate must be comfortable working at heights and willing to complete Fall Arrest and Scissor Lift training if they do not already hold these certifications. This role requires strong physical capability, including the ability to lift up to 75 pounds, perform manual labour, and work safely around heavy machinery. Candidates must be comfortable using hand and power tools, following proper lifting techniques, and maintaining awareness of their surroundings at all times. A strong commitment to workplace safety, reliability, and the ability to travel as required for specific projects are essential for this position.
