Job summary

The Econo-Rack Group 2015 Inc. is seeking an Installer to join our field team in Canada. You will install, repair and set up racking, shelving and warehouse systems at customer facilities, and travel to sites as required.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading materials, maintaining a clean work area, following safety policies, handling basic paperwork, and operating forklifts or scissor lifts with appropriate licenses. A valid driver’s license is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s license.
• Must have fall arrest, emergency first aid, WHMIS.
• Must have forklift and scissor lift operator’s license.
• Have the ability to travel as required by specific projects.

• Maintain company truck and keep it clean and tidy.

Job description

Reporting into the Operations Supervisor, the Installer is responsible for the installation, repair of racking, shelving and other storage and warehouse products.

Job Responsibilities:

• Installation, assembly and set up or repair of various types of storage and warehouse systems, components and/or products at customer’s facility
• Load or unload materials, stock or pile materials in a designated area.
• Keep work area clean and tidy.
• Ensure work is done safely and in accordance with the company’s safety policy, procedures and safe work practices, the installation lead’s or supervisor’s instructions
• Maintain all safety and job related paperwork.
• Adhere to customer’s policies and procedures while in their facility.
• Operate various types of lift equipment and hand or power tools.
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds
• Maintain company truck
• Keep company truck clean and tidy
