Job summary

Core Molding Technologies seeks an experienced technician to manage and verify set up layouts, ensuring materials are available and correctly dispensed. The role covers shift-based setup packages, weekly scheduling, and adherence to safety and quality policies.

Qualifications

• Millwright experience is required for setup and maintenance tasks.
• Ability to lead and coordinate setup teams across shifts.
• Must be self-motivated, safety oriented and mechanically inclined.
• Ticket for lift truck/boom/scissor lift is required; related training completed.
• Fall Arrest, Lockout/Tagout and Crane Training completed.
• Computer literacy; highly organized and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Issue setup packages to setup teams by shift.
• Record long setup times in rotating weekly schedules.
• Perform preventative maintenance for production runs.
• Audit daily nozzle inspections and assess severity ratings.
• Audit setup checklists for completion and accuracy.
• Record components needed for setup and process orders to maintenance coordinator.
• Comply with OHSA, ERP usage and environmental rules.
• Support QMS implementation and continuous quality improvement.
• Ensure PPE and health/safety practices and advise of hazards.
• Complete other duties as assigned and assist cross-functions.

Job Purpose

The creation and verification of set up layouts and that the necessary materials are available and correctly dispensed.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Issues set up package to set up teams by shift
• Ensures the long schedule set up times are recorded every rotating week
• Preventative Maintenance - unique requirements for the production run
• Audits daily nozzle inspection for completion - correct rating of severity
• Audits per set up checklist for completion /accuracy
• Monitors/Records components needed for set up based on min/max - complete form to order and give to the maintenance coordinator
• Complies with all corporate policies and the Occupational Health and Safety Administration rules (OHSA) while working
• Utilizes ERP as required
• Supports QMS implementation and ongoing continuous quality improvement
• To take every precaution reasonable for the protection of employees included but not limited to ensuring all are provided with and wear any equipment, protective device or clothing required and advise employees of any potential or actual health or safety dangers known
• Completes all other duties as assigned
• Comply with all applicable environmental laws, regulations and third-party relevant requirements in a continuing effort to improve pollution prevention strategies.
