Job summary

Superior-Cabinets is seeking an Installation and Service Coordinator to join the team that coordinates cabinet pickups, delivery, and installation with customers and vendors. You will track projects and drive timely, cost-effective completion.

You will communicate by phone and email, follow up on concerns, and work with Installers, Managers and Sales staff to meet deadlines. Strong organizational and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Grade 12 or equivalent.
  • Experience in construction/trade will be considered an asset.
  • Project management experience will also be considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate cabinet pickups, delivery, installation and service to ensure timeliness.
  • Communicate with customers by phone and email on job status and updates.
  • Analyze and process service parts cost-effectively for each job.
  • Follow up on concerns and provide timely solutions to customers.
  • Maintain ongoing communication with Installers, Managers and Sales staff to meet deadlines.
  • Track and document progression of tasks via internal systems.
  • Attend and participate in regular meetings and contribute to continuous improvement.

Job description

Objective: The Installation and Service Coordinator will be part of a team that coordinates pickup, delivery, and installation services of product and services with customers, and vendors. The Installation and Service Coordinatorwill also be responsible for tracking projects and driving their completion in the most time sensitive and cost-effective manner.

Relationships:

Reports to: Shared Operations Manager

Direct Reports: None

Internal: Store Managers, Designers, Installers, Shared Operations, and Warehouse Departments

External: Customers and Vendors

Key Position Responsibilities:

  • Focused on growing and retaining customers.
  • Leading the timely coordination of cabinet pickups, delivery, installation and service.
  • Analyze and Process service parts in a cost-effective manner for each job.
  • Communicate via phone and email with customers on the status of their jobs.
  • Follow up on any concerns and provide timely solutions.
  • Ongoing communication with Installers, Managers and Sales staff to ensure deadlines are met.
  • Track and document the progression of the tasks via internal systems.
  • Attend and participate in regular meetings.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Present ideas for improving customer care.
  • Consistently communicate with customers, Design Consultants, Installers and Vendors.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Feedback from customer experience.

KPIs:

  • Improve store warranty and service costs.
  • Improve completions.
  • Reduce number of service trips.
  • Reduce number of days product is in inventory.

Requirements:
