Gentek is a leading manufacturer and distributor of exterior home improvement products. The Branch Inside Sales Support/Warehouseperson will greet customers, process orders, and help ensure accurate delivery and stock management within the distribution branch.

This full-time role offers training, tuition reimbursement, and a strong emphasis on work-life balance with a weekday schedule and a collaborative team focused on customer service.

Qualificações

• Completed High School certificate; post-secondary asset.
• Experience in building industry helpful but training may be provided.
• Able to read and write word and number sequences.
• Must be computer proficient.

Responsabilidades

• Greet customers in person or by phone and assist with inquiries.
• Enter and process customer orders in Gentek's order system.
• Provide accurate information about products, availability and delivery status.
• Maintain documentation related to customers and orders.
• Pick orders and prepare for delivery and for pickup; assist with loading/unloading.
• Move incoming product to designated locations in the branch.

In this client-facing role, you understand the importance of customer service and the foundation of ACT. You will become a product knowledge expert, knowing all about what we sell and how to support our customers. General responsibilities include:

Customer Service

• Greet customers as they enter the distribution branch, or as they call.
• Answer customer inquiries about the materials and services Gentek provides.
• Make it easy for customers to do business with us. You are their business partner.

Order Processing

• Enter and process customer orders through Gentek's order system.
• Provide accurate and helpful information about products, availability, and delivery status.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to customers and orders.

Shipping & Receiving

• Pick orders and prepare them in staging areas for delivery.
• Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks.
• Pick orders for immediate pick-up.
• Ensure accuracy of order against paperwork.
• Move incoming product to the designated location in the branch.

• Completed High School certificate a must. Post-secondary education an asset.
• Experience in the building industry (e.g., hardware store, pro-desk) is valuable, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
• Able to read and write word and letter/number sequences.
• Must be computer proficient.
• High compliance with standards, requirements, and processes.
• Emotional intelligence that facilitates respectful and courteous interactions with customers and other Gentek employees.
• Must be able to multi-task, prioritize, and perform in a fast-paced environment.
