Job summary

Gentek Building Products - Canada in Ontario is seeking a Branch Driver to join our team. You will safely load and unload products, know our routes, greet customers, and help with day-to-day warehouse tasks.

This role combines driving with warehouse duties, order picking, shipping/receiving, and maintaining cleanliness and organization across the branch. A valid AZ license and Moffett experience are required, with high school education.

Qualifications

• Valid AZ license is required.
• Moffett experience is required.
• High school education is required.
• Able to read and write basic words and number sequences.

Responsibilities

• Safely load and unload product using appropriate equipment.
• Know our products and your route; greet and assist customers.
• Perform warehouse tasks related to product movement, organization and cleanliness.
• Pick orders and prepare them for delivery or pickup; ensure paperwork matches.
• Assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks and moving incoming product to designated locations.

Responsibilities:

Driving & Deliveries

• Safely load and unload product using the appropriate equipment
• Know our products and your route
• Know our customers. Greet and assist them in a friendly and efficient manner

When Not On The Road, You Will Be a Valued Member Of Our Warehouse Team. You’ll Perform a Variety Of Tasks Related To Product Movement, Warehouse Organization And Cleanliness, And Customer Service. General Responsibilities Include:

Shipping & Receiving

• Pick orders and prepare them in staging areas for delivery
• Assist with loading and unloading of delivery trucks
• Pick orders for immediate pick-up
• Ensure accuracy of order against paperwork
• Move incoming product to the designated location in the branch
