Job summary

Foundation Building Materials in Burlington, ON is seeking an Inside Sales Professional to build strong customer relationships and provide expert guidance from the front counter to tailored solutions. You will handle quotes, inquiries, and cross-selling while supporting showroom operations and inventory control.

The role requires 2+ years of inside sales, excellent communication, and proficiency with Windows; forklift experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 2+ years inside sales experience (incoming call preferred).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills and telephone manners.
• Ability to focus on different tasks and use time efficiently to achieve desired outcomes.
• Familiarity with Windows operating systems.
• Warehouse work which includes forklift experience/training.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service & sales support with professional communication before, during and after sales.
• Enter orders, pricing, and customer data into systems; respond to quotes via multiple channels.
• Maintain stock levels, organize showroom, and support inventories; coordinate deliveries.
• Operate cash register and balance drawer daily; use management software for billing and reporting.
• Maintain up-to-date product knowledge and document order details for large projects.
• Coordinate deliveries with Operations and assist with special product purchases.
• Attend required sales training and company programs.
• Support core values of safety, customer focus, teamwork and integrity.
