The Role – Sales Representative

The sales representative will use the company’s sales playbook to initiate, track, nurture, and convert leads from various networks. Responsibilities include:

  • Actively soliciting cold and warm leads through networking, social media, field prospecting, and cold calling
  • Building and maintaining a robust sales pipeline to meet or exceed sales targets
  • Collaborating with the Business Development Manager, Estimators, marketing coordinator, and executive team
  • Utilizing a CRM to manage sales activities
  • Developing strong relationships with new and existing networks, including the A&D community
  • Monitoring sales trends and participating in promotional campaigns
  • Staying informed about competitor activities and market trends
  • Securing and fostering inclusion in prospective tenders and project groups

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 5 years of sales experience within the ICI sector of the construction industry in Ontario, Canada
  • A professional network to leverage and expand
  • Proficiency with CRM systems
  • Excellent verbal, written, and technical communication skills
  • Experience calling on architects, interior designers, and the commercial real estate community
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite and web inquiries
