SRS Distribution Inc. in Calgary is seeking an Inside Sales professional to deliver building materials knowledge to customers. You will greet customers, handle calls and orders, and provide quotes to support sales and timely deliveries.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, product knowledge, and collaboration with Shipping and outside sales to drive retail sales and maintain stock levels.

Competenze

• Inside Sales experience (1+ year).
• Administrative experience (2+ years).
• Customer service in fast-paced setting required.
• Building materials/home improvement knowledge is an asset.
• Effective verbal and written English communication.
• Previous sales experience is beneficial.

Mansioni

• Greet and assist customers entering the facility.
• Handle incoming calls, inquiries, and orders.
• Provide project quotes, process orders, assist in purchasing.

The primary function of Inside Sales is to provide product knowledge on building materials to new and existing customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and assist customers who enter the facility.
• Manage incoming phone calls, inquiries, and orders.
• Provide project quotes, enter delivery/special orders, and assist in purchasing.
• Meet project timelines to anticipate customer needs.
• Collaborate with Shipping to ensure delivery schedules and instructions are met.
• Work with outside sales staff to stay current with project work and specialty items.
• Learn about new building and home improvement materials to increase retail sales.
• Ensure the facility is clean and stocked.
• Always be an ambassador of the company with all employees and customers.
• Build strong customer relationships through reliable call backs.
• Other duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications:

• At least 1 year of Inside Sales experience.
• At least 2 years of administrative experience.
• Customer service experience in fast paced setting required.
• Building material and home improvement product knowledge an asset.
• Effective communication skills, verbal, and written English.
• Previous sales experience would be beneficial.
