Job summary

Kerr Controls Ltd. in Truro, NS is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support HVAC/R customers from our local branch. You will provide product knowledge, process orders, and help drive branch revenue.

You will collaborate with the outside sales team, follow up on vendor lead times, and maintain accurate paperwork. The role requires strong computer skills and a proven track record in wholesale inside sales.

Qualifications

• Wholesale Inside Sales experience in HVAC/R.
• Strong computer skills and attention to detail for order entry.

Responsibilities

Kerr Controls Ltd. (Kerr) is a leading distributor of Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, Refrigeration Equipment, and Supplies. We are experiencing significant growth and expanding our offerings, making this an exciting time to join our team. We have an immediate opening for a dynamic, dedicated, and highly motivated Inside Sales Representative working from our Truro, NS location.

Responsibilities

• Provide knowledgeable product support and basic solutions for HVAC/R customers and day-to-day account needs.
• Contribute to meeting sales targets and support overall branch revenue growth.
• Follow up with vendors on lead times, stock availability, etc.
• Build and maintain positive working relationships with customers and suppliers.
• Complete accurate order entry, pricing, and follow-up to support smooth customer transactions.
• Work closely with the outside sales team to help prepare quotes, enter and track customer sales orders, and ensure timely follow-up and support.
• Competent computer skills with experience using sales, inventory, and customer management software.
• Participate in training and development activities and support the onboarding of new team members when required.

• Previous wholesale Inside Sales experience and strong HVAC/R product knowledge
• Must possess intermediate computer skills
