Job summary

Rexel Canada is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Calgary, AB, to directly service customers by phone and email, process orders, and provide quotations. You will help maintain stock visibility, offer alternatives, and drive outbound calls to grow business.

The ideal candidate has at least two years in inside sales or customer service, strong communication and multitasking skills, and a working knowledge of AS400 is an asset. Electrical product knowledge is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of inside sales or customer service experience.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
• Proven multitasking and time-management abilities.
• AS400 experience is an asset.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is advantageous.
• Product knowledge of electrical industry is a must.

Responsibilities

• Directly service customers via phone and email daily.
• Process orders, inquiries and quotations.
• Consistently achieve high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives.
• Make follow-up calls on quotations.
• Make at least four outbound calls per day to solicit additional business.

As an Inside Sales Representative based in Calgary, AB your essential duties will be to:

• Directly service customers via phone & email on a daily basis.


• Process orders, inquiries & quotations every day.


• Consistently achieve a high level of customer service.


• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.


• Make follow-up calls to customers on all quotations.


• Make at least four (4) outbound calls per day to various customers to solicit additional business.


• Assist customers with any inquiries regarding e-commerce.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years of inside sales or customer service experience.


• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.


• Strong multitasking and time management skills.


• AS400 experience would be an asset.


• Electrical apprenticeship experience is considered an advantage.


• Product knowledge of the electrical business is a must.
