Job summary

Nedco is seeking an Inside Sales Representative in Calgary, AB. You will directly service customers by phone and email, process orders and quotations, and support ecommerce inquiries in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in inside sales or customer service, strong communication skills, and a team-oriented mindset, with AS400 knowledge considered an asset.

Qualifications

• Directly service customers via phone and email daily.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is considered an advantage.
• Product knowledge of the electrical business is a must.
• AS400 experience would be an asset.

Responsibilities

• Directly service customers via phone & email daily.
• Process orders, inquiries & quotations daily.
• Consistently achieve a high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.
• Make follow-up calls to customers on quotations.
• Make at least four outbound calls per day to solicit additional business.
• Assist customers with inquiries regarding e-commerce.

As an Inside Sales Representative based in Calgary, AB your essential duties will be to:

• Directly service customers via phone & email on a daily basis.
• Process orders, inquiries & quotations every day.
• Consistently achieve a high level of customer service.
• Confirm stock availability and suggest alternatives as required.
• Make follow-up calls to customers on all quotations.
• Make at least four (4) outbound calls per day to various customers to solicit additional business.
• Assist customers with any inquiries regarding e-commerce.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of two years of inside sales or customer service experience.
• Proven ability to communicate effectively and build customer relationships.
• Strong multitasking and time management skills.
• AS400 experience would be an asset.
• Electrical apprenticeship experience is considered an advantage.
• Product knowledge of the electrical business is a must.
• Team Player.
