Northern Metalic Sales in Edson, AB is seeking an Inside Sales Representative to support counter sales, respond to customer inquiries, and efficiently process orders for industrial supplies.

Training is provided for hydraulic hose assembly and forklift operations. This full-time on-site role offers a comprehensive benefits package and a path for growth within a diverse, active industrial group.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Experience in an inside sales or counter sales role.
• Ability to prepare and present customer quotations with detailed pricing.
• Accurate data entry into POS/internal systems.
• Able to build trusting relationships with retail and commercial customers.
• Valid driver’s license and willingness to commute/relocate to Edson, AB.

Responsibilities

Northern Metalic Sales is part of a larger, diverse group of companies with interests in wholesale distribution, oilfield service & supply, lubricants distribution, safety supplies & field services, land and real estate development, rail construction & transload, and finance.

We are currently seeking an Inside Sales Representative for Edson:

Primary Duties:

• Counter Sales of Industrial Supplies
• On Call Rotation ( paid extra on top of wage )
• Assemble hydraulic hose ( training provided )
• Answer incoming calls, handle customer inquiries
• Order Entry and Product Sourcing
• Recommend products and solutions to customers
• Delivery of Orders
• Operation of Forklift ( training provided )
• Housekeeping in Warehouse and Store areas

Required Skills & Abilities

• Outstanding customer service skills with a genuine desire to deliver excellent customer service experiences.
• Proven ability in an inside sales and/or counter sales environment; can provide product knowledge information to customers in a confident and friendly manner.
• Ability to provide detailed pricing terms and prepare and present customer quotations.
• Efficient data entry skills are required to enter orders into POS/internal systems.
• Able to give consistent and effective customer feedback to the store management team on an ongoing basis.
• Capable of building trusting relationships with the retail and commercial customers
• Ability to work in a standing position for extended periods
• Effective problem solving, planning, and organizing skills
• Some Level of Mechanical Aptitude
• Some lifting up to 50 lbs
• Greet and direct customers with a professional and enthusiastic attitude
• A Valid driver’s license
• Strong personal commitment to health and safety
• Computer Literacy
