Job summary

Employee Benefit Consultants, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented project engineer to join our team in Delta, BC.

You will plan, coordinate, and oversee infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget, with collaboration across disciplines. Requirements include a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil, or Electrical engineering, 5+ years of project engineering experience, proficiency with MS Project or AutoCAD, strong communication and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Civil or Electrical).
• 5+ years in project engineering or related field.
• Proficiency with MS Project and AutoCAD.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong leadership and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed project plans including scope, goals, deliverables, timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and stakeholders to keep projects aligned.
• Provide engineering expertise and technical guidance throughout the lifecycle.
• Maintain thorough project documentation and reports.
• Monitor costs, manage budgets and report financial status.
• Identify risks and devise mitigation strategies to ensure success.
• Ensure activities meet industry standards, regulations and company guidelines.
• Provide regular progress updates to stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot issues and provide solutions to keep projects on track.
• Demonstrate ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
