Job summary

EBC Inc. is seeking an experienced Project Manager in British Columbia to lead civil infrastructure projects, including bridges, roads and tunnels. You will oversee planning, scheduling, budgeting, and field operations while coordinating with clients, subcontractors, and staff to ensure project success.

The role requires 7–10 years in civil construction project management, a relevant degree, and proficiency with MS Office, MS Project and Bluebeam. Occasional travel to BC sites is expected.

Qualifications

• When applying, must have degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Management or related Technology.
• 7–10 years of related construction project management experience.
• Experience in civil engineering construction including bridges, tunneling and heavy civil projects is required.
• Strong communication, initiative and leadership abilities.
• Proficient with MS Office, MS Project and Bluebeam.

Responsibilities

• Review tender documents, estimates and determine scope, scheduling and planning.
• Ensure thorough knowledge of tender documents, drawings and addenda.
• Provide leadership and maintain relationships with clients, staff, subcontractors and consultants.
• Inform Senior Project Manager of progress, methods and budget strategies.
• Order materials with suppliers in collaboration with the Superintendent.
• Perform quantity tracking and cost coding for productivity and forecasting.
• Prepare daily site reports on crew progress and issues.
• Plan, monitor and coordinate appointed projects.
• Assist in preparing final project records and as-builts.
• Organize and participate in meetings and communications across stakeholders.
• Assist with on-site field duties and safety management; travel as needed.
• Contribute to safety program compliance and continuous improvement.
