Job summary

City of Richmond Hill is seeking an Infrastructure Analyst to implement and support the server, application, network and telecommunications infrastructure. You will work with the IT team to administer technology infrastructure following best practices.

Role requires a Diploma in computer science, Cisco Enterprise certification and 4 years of IT experience. The position is a temporary full-time contract lasting 1 year, with potential after-hours work and on-site responsibilities at City work

Qualifications

Diploma in computer science or a related discipline.
Cisco Certification in Enterprise is required
Security Certification, Microsoft Certification and VMware Certification is considered an asset
4 years of relevant IT experience

Responsibilities

Implement, maintain and support the infrastructure platforms for the City that are secure and reliable.
Manage, deploy, and operate the City’s network environments including Firewalls, Routers, Switches, VPN.
Design and implement high availability solutions for business continuity.
Provide second-tier support, troubleshoot issues and perform maintenance as required.
Coordinate moves/adds/changes of networking equipment and services with vendors.
