Job summary

Gumloop is seeking an Infrastructure Engineer in Vancouver to own and scale the systems powering our AI infrastructure. You will architect large-scale projects and work closely with founders to improve reliability, security, and performance across cloud-native stacks.

You will design and maintain Kubernetes clusters, pipelines, and hosted services while collaborating with a small, fast-moving team that values ownership, speed, and clear communication with customers.

Qualifications

• Kubernetes, Docker, Redis, GCP, Terraform, Prometheus and CI/CD experience.
• Track record owning infrastructure at scale in a fast-moving environment.
• Strong software engineering fundamentals and ability to own projects end-to-end.
• Comfort working in a small team with ownership, autonomy and speed.
• Strong communication with customers and founders.

Responsibilities

• Architect and roll out large-scale infrastructure projects independently.
• Build and scale infra supporting agent orchestration, sandboxing, and MCP services.
• Define the technical roadmap and communicate with customers to inform priorities.
• Work with the founders to improve reliability and scalability of our infra.
• Design and maintain Kubernetes clusters, CI/CD pipelines, and GCP infra.
• Ensure high availability, security, observability, and performance across systems.
