Job summary

MCAP is seeking a Systems Engineer to design, deploy, and manage its storage and compute infrastructure across on-premises and cloud environments. You will ensure security, performance, and reliability while implementing automation and disaster recovery planning.

The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience, VMware vSphere expertise, and strong knowledge of backup and storage solutions. This permanent full-time position involves collaboration with Corporate Services to meet business

Qualifications

Minimum 5–7 years of relevant experience in design, deployment and administration of mission-critical servers.
Experience with VMware vSphere and cloud services in enterprise environments.
Knowledge of incident, change and problem management (ITIL driven).
Familiarity with automation technologies and system scripting.
Experience with storage and backup solutions including Veeam Backup.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, manage and secure storage and compute infrastructure.
Plan and monitor capacity and performance; document configurations and DR processes.
Oversee upgrades of hardware, software and cloud services; perform ROI analyses for procurements.
Perform server and security audits, backups, and recovery procedures in line with DR and BC strategies.
Collaborate with teams to ensure reliable operation and drive continuous improvements.
