What will you do?

  • Lead IT operations across the Americas, aligning with local and global IT compliance standards.
  • Collaborate with regional and global IT leaders to implement consistent security, infrastructure, and cloud strategies.
  • Develop and maintain disaster recovery policies tailored to regional needs.
  • Enforce cybersecurity and access control policies in line with global frameworks.
  • Oversee deployment of network products, protocols, and services to support strategic IT initiatives.
  • Standardize hardware/software configurations across departments and locations.
  • Manage installation and support of IT infrastructure, including: Servers, enterprise software, and operating systems; Network and connectivity solutions; Security and monitoring platforms; VOIP and unified communications; Mobile device management and remote access; End-user computing and help desk operations.
  • Drive performance and efficiency in IT support, especially for engineering and manufacturing teams.
  • Lead and mentor remote and on-site IT teams, fostering innovation and accountability.
  • Ensure compliance with global IT governance, audits, and risk assessments.
  • Monitor and report on KPIs related to IT service delivery and user satisfaction.

What will you bring?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive IT experience, with at least 7 years in leadership roles.
  • Proven experience in IT operations within a tier-one automotive or engineering-intensive environment.
  • Strong knowledge of: Enterprise IT infrastructure and cloud-based applications; LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, and client/server architectures; Cybersecurity, disaster recovery, and access control; High-performance computing (HPC) environments.
  • Familiarity with IT compliance and data protection regulations in the Americas.
  • Business acumen in budgeting, procurement, and vendor management.
  • Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills across diverse teams and time zones.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strategic thinker with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Project management expertise in complex, multi-site IT initiatives.
  • Ability to balance global standardization with local operational needs.
