Job summary

Porter Airlines Inc. is seeking a Specialist, Inflight Regulatory & Standards to own regulatory compliance and standards across the Inflight Services operation.

You will interpret Transport Canada regulations, manage the Flight Attendant Manual and related documents, and lead compliance monitoring and audits. You will collaborate with Brand & Service, Training & Development, and Safety to ensure regulatory changes are reflected across crew materials and training programs.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant experience in aviation, training, safety, compliance, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of cabin crew experience is required.
• Strong knowledge of Transport Canada Civil Aviation Regulations (CARs), Flight Attendant Training Standards, IOSA Standards, and applicable airline operational standards.
• Demonstrated experience with audits, investigations, or compliance tracking an asset.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary interpreter of Transport Canada regulations for cabin crew operations on assigned fleets.
• Ensure programs and procedures comply with CARs, IOSA standards, and Transport Canada requirements.
• Stay current on regulatory updates, industry standards, and emerging best practices.
• Participate in regulatory reviews and inspections.
• Escalate regulatory decisions and corrective action approvals as required.
• Contribute to Porter's Safety Management System by identifying hazards and promoting safety.
