Job summary

Endurance Technologies Inc. is seeking an experienced Industrial Technologist / Project Coordinator for Calgary on a 6-month contract. The role supports industrial design, engineering documentation, manufacturing projects, and continuous improvement with cross-functional teams.

The candidate will develop detailed drawings, coordinate schedules and costs, and contribute to QMS and safety compliance while advancing fabrication processes.

Qualifications

• Post-secondary education in engineering/industrial design or related technical discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of industrial design and project management in manufacturing.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and SolidWorks for drawings.
• Experience with fabrication, assembly, and manufacturing drawings.
• Understanding of manufacturing processes, materials, and costs.
• Familiarity with Lean, continuous improvement, and root cause analysis.
• Knowledge of ISO standards and QMS is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain 2D/3D drawings using AutoCAD/SolidWorks for manufacturing activities.
• Prepare and revise engineering drawings, specs, and project docs.
• Collaborate with maintenance and manufacturing to improve equipment and processes.
• Support project coordination, new projects, and product orders.
• Coordinate design and manufacturing projects to meet timelines and budgets.
• Assist with cost estimation, material requirements, and costing models.
• Work with QA to ensure manufacturing compliance and material specs.
• Develop and update SOPs, work instructions, and technical docs.
• Coordinate with suppliers/vendors to support procurement and project needs.
• Monitor budgets, material usage, and resource allocation.
• Participate in continuous improvement and cost-reduction initiatives.
• Assist with technical inquiries from customers and stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with QMS and safety requirements.
