Job summary

Qualifications

• 2–4 years of experience in shipping, receiving, warehousing, inventory control, or logistics.
• Forklift operator certification and comfort working in an active shop.
• Strong commitment to workplace health and safety.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, inventory software, and MS Office; TDG knowledge is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Inspect incoming deliveries against purchase orders and packing slips to ensure material accuracy.
• Coordinate with fabrication leads to ensure materials are available and projects stay on schedule.
• Track inventory, expedite shipments, and coordinate material deliveries for production needs.
• Organize outbound shipments, prepare shipping docs, schedule carriers, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate local and cross-border shipments as required.
• Assist with unloading materials using a forklift and perform hands-on shop duties.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and shipping documentation including bills of lading.
• Support inventory accuracy, quality assurance, material traceability, and efficiency.
• Identify and resolve shipping discrepancies with safety and accountability.
