Job summary

IS2 is seeking a Lead Person, Shipping & Inventory Management in Cambridge, Ontario to oversee shipping, inventory control, and material movement within a busy industrial environment.

The role requires extensive warehouse experience with powered equipment, current forklift certification, and strong safety practices. Experience with SAP and cranes is an asset, supporting a team-focused operation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a warehouse or stockroom.
• 5+ years powered equipment experience.
• Current forklift certification.
• Overhead crane certification is an asset.
• SAP experience is an asset.
• Strong safety, organization and quality focus.
• Ability to work independently while contributing to a team.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of parts and materials throughout the facility.
• Receive, store, pick, pack, and ship parts, products, tools, and supplies.
• Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate records.
• Update SAP to support shipping and inventory activities.
• Operate forklifts, overhead cranes and other material handling equipment safely.
• Prepare products for shipment using skids, crates, and boxes; complete routine shipping paperwork.
• Maintain clean, organized and safe work areas per 5S practices.
• Collaborate with technicians and team members to support workflow.
