Job summary

Commissionaires is seeking a dedicated Security Supervisor to oversee security operations at Interpro Pipe & Steel facilities. This leadership role manages security personnel, ensures site procedures and licensing compliance, and supports client objectives on a day-to-day basis.

Qualifications

• Must have lived in Canada for 5 years.
• Minimum 3 years of supervisory experience.
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong report-writing and investigative skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and security systems.
• Legally able to work in Saskatchewan.
• Successful completion of the Ministry of Corrections and Policing forty (40) hour Private Investigators and Security Guard course.

Responsibilities

• Supervise security personnel and ensure posts are staffed and operational.
• Ensure compliance with site security procedures, licensing requirements, training standards, and PPE expectations.
• Conduct inspections, shift briefings, performance reviews, coaching, and corrective actions.
• Oversee access control operations, including visitor management and badge issuance.
• Monitor security patrols, CCTV, alarms, and access control systems.
• Respond to and lead investigations of security incidents, alarms, and emergencies.
• Coordinate emergency response activities, evacuations, and incident reporting.
• Maintain accurate records, reports, logs, and documentation.
• Support compliance audits and continuous improvement of site security procedures.
• Serve as liaison between Interpro Pipe & Steel and Commissionaires leadership.
• Ensure effective communication, shift handovers, and escalation of concerns.
• Manage key inventories and asset control records.
• Implement directives from the Director, Corporate Security.
