Job summary

GardaWorld is seeking an Industrial Site Security Supervisor for a high-profile industrial environment. You will lead a team of security guards, plan operations at the client site, and maintain a safe workplace.

The role emphasizes CCTV monitoring, risk mitigation, and staff scheduling with growth opportunities. Expect a Monday to Friday schedule from 07:00 to 15:00, uniform provided, and access to GardaWorld Academy training.

Qualifications

• Authorized to work in Canada.
• First aid certification is an asset.
• Proficient with basic phone and computer skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
• 1–3 years in supervisory or leadership roles in a unionized environment.
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
• Ability to work in a stressful environment and make decisions.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment.
• Lead a team of Security Guards.
• Plan, direct and ensure the smooth running of operations at the client's site.
• Develop and implement procedures and policies for security operations.
• Maintain protection systems for fire, theft and other disasters.
• Create site schedules and track training of all staff.
• Ensure the availability of emergency equipment.
• Make suggestions to improve and optimize the security service.
• Maintain good staff relationships.
• Daily monitoring of CCTV.
