Job summary

Securiguard Services Ltd. is seeking mobile security personnel to protect an industrial/construction site in Sherwood Park.

You will manage access, patrol the site, and ensure safety and client updates, while delivering professional customer service on behalf of Securiguard and our clients. The role requires a valid Security Guard License, First Aid/CPR, Class 5 licence with a clean abstract, good communication skills, and the ability to complete logs and reports.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate.
• Class 5 licence with a clean abstract.
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk and drive for extended periods of time.
• Strong Communication skills, written and verbal.
• Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports.
• Must have strong customer service skills.
• Previous security experience would be an asset.
• Basic Computer Skills.

Responsibilities

• Control access at gates, manage access cards, and greet/screen visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols to maintain overall site safety and security.
• Ensure all entrants are properly documented and wearing required PPE.
• Complete paperwork and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and management to support smooth operations and client updates.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Securiguard and our clients professionally.
• Accurately record and report incidents; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Position Details

• Location: Sherwood Park - Industrial/Construction Site
• Schedule: Mon, Tues, Wed
• Shift: Morning
• Hours: 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM
• Pay Rate: $19.62/hour

Note: Successful candidates will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test prior to deployment.
