Job summary

Securitas Canada Limited is seeking professional and reliable Security Guards to join our team across a variety of client sites in the Windsor area. Roles vary across energy, warehousing and other client locations.

Pay rate is 20.80 CAD per hour, with opportunities for full-time, part-time or casual assignments. Successful candidates will hold an Ontario Security Guard Licence with First Aid/CPR and a clean driver’s abstract where required.

• Strong communication and customer service skills.

• Ability to remain calm and professional in challenging situations.
• Strong observation and attention to detail.
• Ability to complete written reports accurately.

• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Previous security experience is an asset, but qualified candidates with a strong customer-service background are encouraged to apply for more experienced roles.
• Candidates must have a G class drivers licence due to site requirements for company vehicle use. Clean drivers abstract is also required.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and patrol the assigned property
• Control access to the site and verify visitors, employees, contractors, and deliveries
• Monitor CCTV and alarm systems
• Maintain accurate daily activity and incident reports
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in accordance with site procedures
• Conduct regular patrols and inspections
• Enforce client and site-specific security policies
• Provide professional customer service to employees, visitors, students, contractors, and members of the public
• Maintain a visible security presence
• Contact emergency services when required
• Perform other security-related duties as assigned

• Logistics and Warehousing
• Other client locations require professional security services

What You Will Do:

Pay rates are $20.80 per hour, depending on the assignment, location, experience, licensing requirements, and site responsibilities.
