Job summary

Securiguard Services is seeking mobile security personnel to oversee a construction/industrial site. Location is Sherwood Park; schedule is Thurs, Fri, Sat with a morning shift.

You will manage access, perform patrols, document incidents, and support client operations while delivering professional customer service. Requirements include a valid Security Guard License, First Aid/CPR, clean Class 5 license, and the ability to stand, walk, sit, and drive as needed.

Qualifications

• Valid Security Guard License.
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate.
• Class 5 license with a clean abstract.
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk and drive for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Control access at gates, manage access cards, and greet/screen visitors.
• Conduct regular patrols to maintain overall site safety and security.
• Ensure all entrants are properly documented and wearing required PPE.
• Complete paperwork and maintain accurate logs and records.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and management to support smooth operations and client updates.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and represent Securiguard and our clients professionally.
• Accurately record and report incidents; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Position Details

Location: Sherwood Park

Schedule: Thurs, Fri, Sat

Shift: Morning

Hours: 5:45 AM - 6:00 PM

Pay Rate: $19.64/hour

Note: Successful candidates will be required to complete a drug and alcohol test prior to deployment.

Requirements

• Valid Security Guard License
• Valid First Aid / CPR certificate
• Class 5 licence with a clean abstract
• Must be able to stand, sit, walk and drive for extended periods of time
• Strong Communication skills, written and verbal
• Ability to complete daily logs and write detailed reports
• Must have strong customer service skills
• Previous security experience would be an asset
• Basic Computer Skills
