Job summary

Arrow Engineered Products Woodstock is seeking a Painter to prepare surfaces and apply protective coatings to various parts in a manufacturing setting. You will prep surfaces, sand, prime, and work closely with the production team to meet quality and throughput goals.

The role requires experience in painting or coatings, the ability to operate in a physically demanding environment, and strict safety adherence. We offer comprehensive benefits and competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in the mixing and application of wet paint process.
• Strong attention to detail and quality.
• Able to work in a physically demanding environment.
• Safety conscious and reliable.
• Able to use jib cranes and related lifting attachments and handheld equipment.
• Follow written instructions when completing a work order to barcode production.

Responsibilities

• Set up the paint line for various paint jobs.
• Wash and prep for paint jobs.
• Spray paint parts.
• Pre and post inspection of parts for defects.
• Monitor and maintain paint equipment and tools.
• Suggest ways to increase throughput on the paint line.
• Maintain respirator program.
• Strict adherence to safety.
• Other duties as required.
