Qualifications

• Fall Arrest and WHMIS considerations are assets.
• Overhead Crane and Forklift Training are assets.
• Ability to use stairs and ladders; willingness to work extended hours and shifts.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
• Fabrication shop environment with exposure to dust, noise, and equipment.
• Ability to work indoors/outdoors in varying conditions and use PPE.

Responsibilities

• Spray using conventional, airless, and plural spray equipment.
• Read and understand drawings and dimensions.
• Follow coating data sheet specifications and use film gauges.
• Familiarity with coatings like zincs, epoxies and polyurethanes.
• Operate hand and power tools as needed on site.
• Handle material using forklifts, overhead cranes, buggies, and carts.
• Receive and identify incoming material and keep shop areas clean.
• Assist other craft workers and learn new skills with Aecon training.
