Job summary

Richards Packaging Inc. invites an Account Executive to drive growth across the Industrial Packaging Distribution portfolio in Canada. You will present and sell packaging solutions to existing and new customers, aiming to exceed sales budgets and margins.

This full-time, hybrid role requires travel and strong collaboration with the Director of Sales to achieve Richards' targets and expand the customer base.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required in business or related field.
• 3–5 years of successful industry or related sales experience.
• CPG product sales experience preferred.
• Strong sales and relationship development skills in a competitive environment.
• Entrepreneurial with ability to identify and propose new sales initiatives.
• Maintain territory records daily via CRM.
• Manage territory expenses, samples, and consignments per policy.
• Ability to research material and craft effective sales presentations.
• Excellent computer skills, especially MS Office.
• Maintain accuracy of customer data in CRM.
• Team player with negotiation and communication skills; able to work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan all sales activities: customer visits, events, territory strategies, and presentations.
• Visit existing customers to maintain relationships and develop opportunities to meet sales targets.
• Prospect for new accounts and develop opportunities.
• Conduct customer training events and represent Richards at industry trade shows.
• Perform administrative duties including CRM reporting and daily sales calls.
