Job summary

A major recycling company in Hamilton is looking for a skilled Millwright to maintain and repair industrial machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate must possess a valid Millwright certification and over 5 years of relevant experience. This full-time role offers various benefits, including health coverage and a defined contribution pension plan. You will be responsible for troubleshooting and ensuring machinery performs optimally within a team-oriented environment.

• 5+ years of experience in a similar role and environment.

• Valid G License is an asset.

The Millwright role is responsible for the maintenance of industrial machinery, mechanical equipment and components, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, lubrications, cooling, and exhaust systems, pumps, fans, tanks, conveyers, presses, generators and pneumatic and hydraulic controls.

Shift time: Monday - Friday (Days)

What’s Expected

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, repair, replace and test industrial machinery and mechanical equipment and components, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, fuel, lubrications, cooling, and exhaust systems, pumps, fans, tanks, conveyers, presses, generators and pneumatic and hydraulic controls.
• Record all work performed, and equipment malfunctions and defects and provides detailed reports to Maintenance Supervisor in accordance with departmental procedures.
• Work orders.
• Safety Checklists.
• Service Checklists.
• Maintain a clean and orderly working environment.

• Cleans work area of slip and trip hazards.
• Returns all unused parts to parts department.
• Returns all company owned tools to tool crib.
• Performs general housekeeping of assigned workstation.
• Carries out responsibilities in compliance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
• Carrying out responsibilities in accordance with Quality and Environmental policies.
• Other duties as assigned by manager.

You Have

• Triple M Metal LP’s Core Values of Respect, Excellence, Integrity, Team, and Pride.
• A valid Industrial Mechanic Millwright (433A) certification.
• 5+ years of experience in a similar role and environment.
• Excellent knowledge and proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, adjust, repair, replace and test industrial machinery, and mechanical equipment and components.
• A proven ability to demonstrate professional communication skills (verbal/written) with a positive attitude.
• Valid G License is an asset.
