Flyer Electric seeks an experienced Journeyman Electrician for the Coteau Creek Hydro Station project. The role offers a wage of $47/hour with a 10 days on, 4 days off shift pattern. Note: this position is not a camp role and accommodations are not provided.

Qualifications

Journeyman Electrician – Coteau Creek

POSITION SUMMARY

We are looking for experienced Journeyman Electricians to join our team on our Coteau Creek Hydro Station project.

Wage: $47/hour

Shift: 10 days on, 4 days off (10-hour days)

Note: This is not a camp position. Accommodations are not provided.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Establish and maintain good relations with site personnel and customers
• Comply with Company’s corporate Health and Safety manual
• Adhere to both Flyer Electric and customer policies and procedures
• Ensure project safety, profitability, schedule adherence, and customer satisfaction
• Ensure field work is executed in compliance with project plans including specifications
• Attend daily and weekly site meetings, as well as all mandatory training
• Maintain a professional image and demonstrate positive attitude, teamwork, and workmanship
• Provide safe and effective supervision and guidance to personnel when needed
• Guide and train apprentices in the proper use of tools, materials, and techniques for most efficient electrical installations
• Lead others by example
• Perform any other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS

• Interprovincial Red Seal Journeyman Certificate
• Saskatchewan Electrical License
• Current Fall Pro and EWP Certificates
• Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, bend, climb, squat, reach, and kneel regularly
• Valid Class 5 driver's license
• Clear & maintain a clean driving abstract and drug/alcohol clearance.
• Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
