Job summary

Novolex in Brampton, Ontario is seeking a Maintenance Technician – Electrician to perform mechanical and electrical maintenance on our process equipment at the 376 Thermoforming Plant.

The role requires a Certified Electrician (442A), 1+ year of North American industrial experience, PLC knowledge, and the ability to work at heights. This opportunity includes a bimonthly 12-hour continental shift and ongoing training programs.

Qualifications

• Certified Electrician license (442A) required.
• North American industrial electrician experience.
• Proficient in PLC systems and electrical controls.
• Knowledge of pneumatic, hydraulic and valve systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical/electrical maintenance on process equipment.
• Inspect machinery for faults and perform preventive maintenance.
• Use shop tools to machine parts to tolerance.
• Set up and align heavy machinery using lifting devices.
• Maintain documentation and parts requests.
